Summer Recap

<-Sign welcoming me to Lander...a welcome sight for sore eyes, and throat...

This is my first official post on my new blog. I guess this is some sort of attempt to keep you all up to date on what I'm up to considering I'm not very good at writing emails and so on. Anyways, here goes...

Just to bring you all up to date with things, I have spent the fall and summer working as a wilderness ranger in the Popo Agie Wilderness outside of Lander, WY (old news for most of you). It has been a wonderful summer climbing world class limestone, lugging 85lb backpacks all over the wilderness, and spending over 50 days in the backcountry. My job is pretty much awesome, allowing me to spend a lot of time in the woods hiking around, climbing 5.11, and living in beautiful Sinks Canyon (when I'm not in my tent that is). Highlights of the summer include hiking nearly every trail in the Popo Agie, making sourdough pancakes for visiting friends, and hanging out in the Cirque of the Towers.
Stay tuned for an exciting announcement concerning my winter (or should I say summer) plans...
