Billy Business

I think yesterday was the busiest I have ever seen Puerto Williams. Let me list all the happenings of the day…

  • A right wale was spotted just 50 meters from the banks along the town bringing all the towns people out to look and drive around in zodiac boats to get a look.
  • A cruise ship docked and all the tourists were walking around drinking pisco scours.
  • A private jet and yacht of an English Lord were here. The jet took off during all of this commotion.

All of these things were happening simultaneously leading to a busy but cool experience. I have never seen a whale before so that was pretty neat. I didn’t get a real good look at it, but was able to see it none the less.

What's in a pisco sour?

A zodiac is a small inflatable boat with an outboard motor on the back. A pisco sour is Chile´s favorite drink made from Pisco (distilled grapes) and lemons.
